Core Improv Program

THE CORPS

At Action Show Studios, we take the UCB approach to improv. That approach focuses on (1) the performance of Del Close’s original long form format, The Harold, and (2) utilizing the establishment of base realities followed by disciplined exploration of game, to consistently create outrageous comedy out of thin air!

Our improv corps program consists of 4 tiers of training, taking you from the fundamentals to advanced Harold and other long form formats over the course of less than a year!

Students who complete our 4-tier corps program become eligible to join our “Paid to Play” division and Video Production Assistance division.

We’ll be adding more dates and instructors in the near future, so check back soon!
